Award Winning Grilled Cheese Burgers
Ingredients:
- 4 hamburger patties
- 8 slices of your favorite cheese
- 8 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat
On both sides, season the burger patties with salt and pepper
A medium-rare burger takes about 4 to 5 minutes on each side after being put on the grill
Just before they're done, add two slices of cheese to each patty and let them melt
In a different pan or on the grill, cook the bacon until it's crispy while the patties are cooking
Put the mustard, pickles, diced onions, mayonnaise, and ketchup in a small bowl
Mix them together to make the special sauce
Take the patties and bacon off the grill when they are done
Sandwich buns should have butter on the inside
Toast them on the grill for one to two minutes, until they're golden brown
Put a cheese-covered patty on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers
Place two pieces of crispy bacon on top of the patty
Use a lot of the special sauce to cover the top half of the bun
Close the burger up and serve right away
